Rocca di Nogarole . Contest . 2010

Participation in the contest for recovering the Fortress of Nogarole located in the homonymous town in the province of Verona. Our project involved a detailed idea of rehabilitation of the interior spaces of the existing buildings and through a conservation project, the full recovery of the external portions. Within the intervention site we have placed: the new town hall, spaces for the community, in particular an auditorium, some properties used for residential permanent use for those eligible. Finally, we thought of a coworking space for small units of freelancers or craftsmen. In addition to defining spaces and materials, we thought of a new window frame designed specifically for this project, a zero-impact frame that does not affect the existing walls of the fortress.
