Marco Taietta was born in Verona (Italy) in 1979. He graduated at the Venice University of\u00a0Industrial Design in 2004. Before graduating, as an assistant \/ trainee, he had been undertaking\u00a0several working experiences; to mention one, the most important was with a famous Spanish\u00a0architect, Patricia Urquiola, in 2002.\u00a0In the meanwhile he took part in some national ambitious\u00a0design projects (a lamp for Foscarini) as well as an European – wide known one (project and\u00a0development of a showroom in Madrid).<\/p>\n
In 2003 he joined the Palomba & Serafini Associates\u00a0design firm, where he broadened his knowledge of interior design, exhibit design as well as\u00a0product design, managing several design projects for some Italian Companies such as Crassevig,\u00a0Iris ceramics, Schiffini, Tubes heating radiators, Zanotta e Zucchetti faucet equipments.<\/p>\n
Having\u00a0acquired much knowledge and proficiency, in 2006 he decided to leave the design firm he\u2019d been\u00a0working to and to start his own business. Up to now, he has been working as an art director at\u00a0Aquileia, a local company which is leader in the manufacture of porcelain stoneware mosaics\u00a0and as an external art consultant at Edilcuoghi and at Riflesso di Narciso, which commissioned\u00a0him his first bathroom equipment design task.\u00a0In 2007, together with Etro, one of the bestknown\u00a0fashion group, he worked for the event \u201cPoli-etrico\u201d in Milan.<\/p>\n
In 2008 he worked with\u00a0Posh-Sea, a company which participates in the development of elements dedicated to yacht\u00a0design and furnishings and accessories designed for the automotive world. Then deals with\u00a0design management, communication, graphic design and brand identity for various clients and\u00a0project space for private homes and corporate offices. In 2010 he started working with Makro\u00a0Bathroom Concept, bathroom furniture company which became art director.<\/p>\n
In 2011, designs\u00a0the Sunshade lamp for Axo-Light. In 2014, he started working with Berti Pavimenti for project\u00a0of a decorative parquet. In the same year develops with Smalvic, Less: a free-standing kitchen\u00a0output in 2015. A free-lance interior trend consultant at Logos Press as well.
