Contest held by AIPI to redesign a part of an old heliotherapy in Rimini for hotel use, with a particular attention to the entrance ground floor and first floor. We thought about a project in line with the Italian Rationalism of the twenty-year fascist period, obviously more modern. On the ground floor, at the entrance, we will have a reception embedded in a large blue sea color volume, passed the concierge, you enter the café area and lounge. Where traditional materials such as Vietri ceramics and the Carrara marble floor, combine Italian and European modernist furniture placed on a long carpet, always blue. On the first floor a synthetic area free of any decorative element, serves as a restaurant with an open kitchen on the bottom, placed inside the aforementioned sea blue glass volume.
